microsoft multi- touch

Surely you're not content with just multi-touch and built-in accelerometers, right? Microsoft Research is expecting not, as it's already working towards integrating force-sensing technology that will enable gestures to twist on-screen imagery without crafting UMPCs out of flexible material. Essentially, the gurus behind the idea feel that implementing said tech would "turn an otherwise passive component that just holds the device together into an active input surface." In the future, it's likely that auditory cues would enable users to know when they've applied enough pressure to cause a change, and of course, they expect it to work hand-in-hand with existing human-computer interfaces. Yeah, who needs keypads these days, anyway?

Dark Destrotyer

This is the Geiger Cars Corvette Z06 Black Edition. Don't look at it; you'll turn to stone.
Meaner than Medusa with PMT (is that sexist?), the Black Edition is the result of some serious tuning by Geiger Cars - a German company famous for never saying 'enough's enough' when it comes to modifying cars. For example, Geiger builds the world's fastest Hummer (top speed 156mph)...
Anyhoo, the Black Edition has a Ferrari F430/Enzo-style rear end with LED lights, a big front lip spoiler and a set of deeply cool 19- or 20in black rims.
The 505bhp 7.0-litre V8 is listed as standard, although who could refuse Geiger's Stage 1 performance kit that's good for 542bhp? The kit includes a new exhaust, manifolds and induction system. Top speed is a none-too-shabby 203mph.
We'll have ours in, er, black.

Blackburn 1-1 Man Utd

Carlos Tevez celebrates his crucial equaliser for Man Utd at Blackburn
Carlos Tevez's late equaliser kept Manchester United on course for the Premier League title as they earned a crucial point at Blackburn.
Roque Santa Cruz threatened to blow the race for the championship wide open with a calm finish after 21 minutes.
And Blackburn keeper Brad Friedel kept United at bay almost single-handedly with a string of stunning saves.
Tevez's 88th minute header gives United a three-point lead over Chelsea before their visit to Stamford Bridge.

Queiroz praises Friedal's saves
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson made four changes ahead of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona - with Nemanja Vidic returning after a three-game absence because of a knee injury and Tomasz Kuszczak stepping in for Edwin van der Sar in goal.
It contributed to moments of uncharacteristic uncertainty at the back, with Kuszczak having to rush out to block Jason Roberts from point-blank range after six minutes.
Tevez wasted a glorious chance to give United the lead three minutes later when he failed to apply the finishing touch to an inviting cross from Wayne Rooney.

Maybe Tevez just won us the title

And Blackburn made them pay after 21 minutes when Morten Gamst Pedersen's throw led to a mix-up between Vidic and Rio Ferdinand, leaving Santa Cruz to slide in his 20th goal of the season from 12 yards.
David Bentley then forced Kuszczak to turn over his 25-yard shot as Blackburn grew in confidence after taking the lead.
Rooney demonstrated the lack of discipline that still dogs his game when he picked up a deserved yellow card six minutes before the interval.
He was still seething after being refused a penalty by referee Rob Styles when he tumbled under a challenge from Steven Reid.

And it was all too inevitable that Rooney would pursue retribution almost instantly, launching a dangerous two-footed tackle on Christopher Samba that was lucky to be only punished with a booking.
There was more frustration after 42 minutes when Ronaldo rose to meet Ryan Giggs' corner, only to see Friedel produce a fine diving save.
It was Giggs' final contribution as he was replaced by fit-again Nani during the interval.

United, predictably, upped the tempo after the break and they were desperately unlucky not to draw level after 63 minutes when Ronaldo sent an angled long-range drive against an upright.
But they survived a scare 10 minutes later when Pedersen drove into the United area and flashed the ball across the face of goal with no-one able to make contact.
Rooney appeared to be struggling with a hip injury, but he was still a threat and tested Friedel with a powerful low shot.
Blackburn somehow survived again with nine minutes left when Rooney set up Ronaldo, who was denied by Johann Vogel's tackle. Tevez turned the loose ball towards goal, but Friedel got a hand to his effort and then snatched the ball off the goal-line.
And United looked to be denied a penalty when Michael Carrick's goal-bound header clearly struck Brett Emerton on the arm, but once again their claims fell on deaf ears.
Blackburn were under fierce pressure, and once more Friedel was the hero with six minutes left, saving brilliantly from Rooney when he was clean through.
Friedel was turning in an inspirational performance, and he somehow denied substitute John O'Shea from almost on the line as United laid siege to Blackburn's goal.
But he could do nothing as United finally got the equaliser they deserved with two minutes left.
Nani's corner was flicked on by Paul Scholes and Tevez headed in from six yards to send the United's hordes wild in celebration.

Celtic keep title chase alive

HOOPS KEEP HOPES ALIVE

CELTIC rode their luck and a rollercoaster of emotion as a solitary Georgios Samaras goal deservedly sealed all three points in a nail-biting encounter with Aberdeen. There were a few nervous moments towards the end of the match, and relief when Zander Diamond's late strike for the visitors was fortuitously ruled out by referee Iain Brines for an apparent hand ball by Barry Nicholson. However, Celtic ultimately deserved the victory which maintains the winning run after Wednesday’s stunning derby win over Rangers and puts them back on top of the SPL.Gordon Strachan was forced to make four changes to the team which started during midweek, with Bobo Balde, Mark Wilson, Massimo Donati and Georgios Samaras stepping in place of the suspended Gary Caldwell and the injured trio of Lee Naylor, Paul Hartley and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. The game started in the most incredible of circumstances, with Celtic Park thrown into stunned silence on five minutes as Aberdeen almost took the lead from Scott Severin’s speculative effort from the edge of the box.The midfielder’s low drive cracked off one post, spun across the goal-line and then hit the other before rolling back into the arms of Artur Boruc. It was a remarkable and unexpected start, but Celtic recovered and moments later Georgios Samaras had a goal ruled out for offside.Gordon Strachan’s men were enjoying the bulk of possession but couldn't create any clear-cut chances in a frustrating first 45 minutes.Aberdeen, however, faced a far more urgent and determined Celtic after the restart, though the Hoops were forced to make a chance with Paul Caddis on for the injured Andreas Hinkel. The home side pushed forward and the teenage right-back immediately contributed with a number of good runs and crosses.Shunsuke Nakamura, Scott McDonald and Aiden McGeady all came close with chances and then, on 56 minutes, Celtic finally took the lead through their Greek striker. Barry Robson curled in a free-kick which Samaras met perfectly with his head at the near post and Celtic were 1-0 up.In the wake of the goal, Celtic took control of the game, battling for every ball, with Samaras coming close with another header. Their hard work was not rewarded with another goal, though, and in the closing stages some nerves began to creep into the home support. Those concerns were hardly alleviated when a lucky break of the ball put through Barry Nicholson and he then laid the ball across the six-yard box where a number of his team-mates were rushing in to score. But Caddis, who had earlier gone off to receive stitches after a nasty clash of heads, slid in with a beautifully-timed challenge and hooked the ball to safety.Celtic enjoyed the better of the exchanges in the remaining minutes of the match, although there was one horrible moment in where Aberdeen had the ball in the back of the net, only for the goal to be disallowed for a Nicholson hand ball that replays suggested may not have been the case. The tension in the crowd remained palpable, but Celtic held their nerve and claimed the crucial three points which maintains their bid for a third consecutive title.

Celtic v Rangers Title Race

The title race is over - IS IT ?

After celtic fielding a convincing performance against rrangers and beating them with alast gasp header at the "hessel"brink of the game, celtic claim that they are oly but five games from their thrid title on the trot and destroying Smith's of a domestic and european quadriple in what is his only first full season back in charge of the club he loves.

But their counterparts on the contrasting side of town also share a contrasting point of veiw and are remaining confident that they will return that much sort after league trophy back to ibrox after two years without it.

However i feel that the title will eb decided next sunday when the two sides meet again and celtic have yet another chance to gain on their foes and hope that there hectic scheduele will tire them out. But on the other hand if rangers win the next encounter at celtic park then they surely will have secured the title for the first time in two years ?

what do you think
